"You Make Me Feel…"
It seems to be a fact of life that depression, anxiety and stress are rife in the modern world. It is difficult to know if there has been an actual increase over the last 20-30 years or if it is just something that people are now more ready to admit to. Whichever it is there seems to be a lot of it about now.
Having had experience of one or two of the multitude of forms depression can take I decided to look into some of the many causes and cures that are circulating at the moment. Of course things advance at a rapid pace these days so something that is on the cutting edge today can be out of date tomorrow, but, having said that, anything that works to alleviate the suffering caused by stress, anxiety and depression will always be a good thing and worth trying.
The methods I have mainly been interested in finding out more about have been those using natural remedies. Now I’m not just talking about cures such as herbal teas and aromatherapy, I’m also interested in the affects that exercise can have on our mental wellbeing as well as our physical state. The quicker and easier the cures the better, as symptoms never seem to happen when we are in the best position to be able to deal with them.
